St. Paul’s Explores

A New Formation Offering

Sep. 14, 21, and 28

St. Paul’s Explores is a series of engaging classes designed to introduce parishioners to different aspects of Christianity and The Episcopal Church at an introductory level. Whether you’re curious about fresh topics or looking to revisit aspects of your faith, this series offers a welcoming space to learn, ask questions, and explore together.

Each set of classes focuses on a distinct topic, developed in conversation with parishioners, the Adult Formation committee, and the staff and clergy of St. Paul’s, under the guidance of the Reverend Morgan Ladd.

When: Sundays, Sep. 14, 21, & 28, following the 10:00 AM service.

Topic: The Old Testament. In our first session, we’ll dive into the Old Testament: What exactly is in it, why do we sometimes call it the Hebrew Bible, and what gifts does it offer us as Christians today? From history and poetry to prophecy and song, we’ll uncover how these diverse texts reveal God’s ongoing relationship with humanity, and how they point us toward Jesus.

Where: Garden Room

Childcare: Available in the Walnut Room. Please check in your child there before attending the class even if they were already in the Walnut Room for worship. This helps our caregivers know when to expect pickup for each child.
